Also called the Leeds Devil the story of the jersey devil dates back to the 18th century where a woman (Mrs. Leeds) had found she was pregnant, and having twelve other children starving in poverty she didnt want any more and had exclaimed Let it be a devil and sure enough the devil came out. This along with many other tales is not known to be the original but the most accepted.

What It Looks Like!

The creature was said to be about 3 feet high with the head of a collie dog and the face of a horse. It was said to have a long neck, wings about 2 feet long. Its back legs (which it walked on) were similar to those of a crane but with hooves, its front legs were short and had paws. It barks, screams and causes mystery throughout its location.
